🚲 Bike Walk Twin Cities – http://www.bikewalktwincities.org/ Works to increase biking and walking, and decrease driving. It is part of a federal initiative, the Non-Motorized Transportation Pilot Program.

🚲 Cycles for Change – http://cyclesforchange.org/ Located on University avenue at Grotto, Sibley is a volunteer community bike shop that seeks to educate and empower children and adults to use bicycles for everyday transportation. They run classes, provide bikes to kids who can’t afford them and sell used bikes and parts.

🚲 Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition – http://mplsbike.org/ Advocates for a city where bicycling is encouraged and everyone feels comfortable riding.

🚲 Nice Ride – https://www.niceridemn.org/ Is a bike share program in Minneapolis with plans to expand to Saint Paul.

🚲 Smart Trips – http://smart-trips.org/ A non-profit organization that improves access and mobility for those who travel in and around St. Paul.

🚲 StreetsMN – http://www.streets.mn/ Streets MN is the Twin Cities version of Streetsblog. Local writers and activists attempt to broaden the conversation about local transportation and land use issues beyond automobiles and parking lots. Great articles by SPBC member Bill Lindeke and others!

🚲 Transit for Livable Communities – http://www.tlcminnesota.org/ A nonprofit organization working to reform Minnesota's transportation system. Through advocacy, organizing, and research, they promote a balanced transportation system that encourages transit, walking, bicycling, and thoughtful development.

🚲 30 Days of Biking - http://30daysofbiking.com/ A worldwide event started right here in the Twin Cities in which participants commit to riding every day for the month of April.
